Terms of Use & Sale
Terms of Use & Sales
The terms governing use of this website, online orders, payments, repair services and the contractual relationship with ReByteLab.
1. Business identity

2. Scope and definitions
These Terms govern use of rebytelab.gr, product sales, technical support services and contracts concluded with ReByteLab. A “Consumer” is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession. Agreed commercial terms and applicable legislation apply to B2B customers.
3. Product and service information
Every effort is made to keep descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and availability accurate. Photographs may be indicative in colour or packaging without altering the essential characteristics.
For refurbished or used products, the condition, grade, known cosmetic wear, basic configuration and package contents are stated.
4. Prices, VAT and offers
All retail prices for consumers are shown in euros and include statutory VAT. Shipping, cash-on-delivery and any other mandatory charges are shown before the order is completed.
When a price reduction is announced, the reference price is the lowest price applied to the product during the required preceding period, normally the previous 30 days, subject to statutory exceptions.
5. Ordering process
- The customer selects products and adds them to the cart.
- Before submission, the customer can review and correct products, quantities, details, shipping and payment methods.
- The total price, VAT, charges and key contractual information are displayed before the final button.
- The final button clearly states that the order entails an obligation to pay.
- An electronic acknowledgement of receipt is sent after submission.
The automated acknowledgement is not always final acceptance. The contract is concluded when ReByteLab confirms that it accepts and proceeds with the order or shipment. If payment has been received for an order that cannot be accepted, it is refunded without undue delay.
6. Availability and obvious errors
Availability may change because of simultaneous sales, delayed supplier updates or technical errors. If an item is unavailable, the customer is informed and may choose to wait, accept an equivalent proposal or cancel for a full refund.
In the event of an obvious price or description error, ReByteLab does not unilaterally amend a concluded contract. It contacts the customer before fulfilment and requests renewed express acceptance, or cancels and refunds any amount paid.
7. Payment methods
Available methods are shown at checkout and may include card payment through a secure provider, Viva Smart Checkout, bank transfer, IRIS, cash on delivery, Klarna or another method active at the time of the order.
ReByteLab does not store full card details or online-banking credentials. An order paid by bank transfer may remain on hold until the payment is identified.
8. Shipping, delivery and risk
Methods, costs and estimated times are governed by the page Shipping, Returns and Withdrawal. For consumer sales, risk passes when the consumer or a designated third party takes physical possession.
9. Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to the exceptions and procedures on the relevant page.
10. Statutory liability and warranty
ReByteLab’s statutory liability for lack of conformity, the rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or termination, and any additional commercial warranty are described on the page Warranty and Seller’s Statutory Liability.
11. Custom PCs and personalised orders
Before a custom build, the customer is informed about components, compatibility, price, estimated time and any deposit. Assembly from standard components does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal. An exception applies only when the goods are clearly made to personal specifications and the statutory conditions are met.
12. Repair services
Repair prices are indicative until technical diagnosis. Before any unagreed work or additional charge, the customer is informed about cost, parts and time, and approval is required.
If the customer asks for the service to begin during the withdrawal period, they provide an express request. If they withdraw before completion, a proportionate amount is due for work already performed.
13. Data on devices submitted for repair
Where possible, the customer should keep a backup and remove personal data that is not required. ReByteLab takes reasonable protective measures but cannot guarantee data recovery when the fault itself, the condition of the storage medium or the agreed work entails technical risk. Any foreseeable risk is explained before work begins.
14. Product safety
Where required, product pages must include a product identifier, manufacturer and EU responsible-person details, an image and warnings or safety information. More information is available on the page Product Safety.
15. Customer account
The user is responsible for the accuracy of their details and the security of their credentials. Suspected unauthorised use must be reported immediately. ReByteLab may suspend an account for security, fraud or unlawful use while respecting existing orders and rights.
16. Reviews
When reviews are displayed, ReByteLab explains whether and how it verifies that they come from genuine customers. The “verified owner” label is used only when a review can be linked to a purchase.
17. Intellectual property
The logo, original text, layout, photographs and other content are protected by applicable law, except for third-party material used lawfully. Reproduction for commercial purposes is not permitted without authorisation.
18. Personal data and cookies
Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies by the Cookie Policy.
19. Limitation of liability
ReByteLab is not liable for damage caused solely by unlawful use, use contrary to instructions, unauthorised intervention or force majeure. No limitation applies to fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product-safety liability or mandatory consumer rights.
20. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
To make a complaint, first contact info@rebytelab.gr and include the order number and a clear description. ReByteLab aims for an amicable and timely resolution.
The consumer may contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman or another competent recognised alternative dispute-resolution body. The former European ODR platform has been discontinued and is not used.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
Greek law applies without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions in their country of habitual residence where applicable. Jurisdiction lies with the courts designated by applicable law; these terms do not impose exclusive jurisdiction to the detriment of the consumer.
22. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated because of changes in law, services or functionality. Each order is governed by the version available when it was submitted, unless a later change is mandatory or more favourable and is accepted.
